September 19, 2012 - Been almost 2 years since I last had one of these. Poured a glass out took first sip at about the 1 hour mark and then we consumed the bottle over hours. Nose shows a little cedar, some dusty cherry, a little plum, and a little burnt caramel. Taste is dominated by tart raspberry and cherry up front. Mid palate is a little thin. Finish comes in with a little menthol. Still get a sense of alcohol in transition from mid to finish. No more for us...these are gone.
