May 19, 2016 - This is a big boy. Honestly, I've never had an oregon pinot with this much of a full bodied fruit wollop. And at 8 years old too! I know 2008 in Oregon was special, and this was a quality wine, but just so unexpected. Thick and rich and Licorice and dark cherry. Black fruit spectrum. Not showing it's age at all. I would have said young carneros pinot or something. This is not my style at all, but I can appreciate a quality wine even if it's not what I would have done with it.

May 13, 2016 - Delicious, better the second day.

November 16, 2015 - Sadly, my last bottle. As usual, big nose of dark berry fruits, spice and earth that carries over to the deeply-flavored, multi-layered palate. Espresso and some oak appear with airtime. Full-bodied, rich, creamy and almost thick for a pinot. Plenty of structure and grip with good complexity and a long finish. Overall, very big, rich and deliciously flavorful. Still going strong. (92, but I like lean pinots - which this is not. Those who like rich pinots will probably rate it higher).

October 20, 2015 - Wonderful fruity and balanced wine with great depth of flavor and long finish. Good for another year or two at least! On the second day it was just as good.
