March 1, 2017 - loads of baked plum and Christmas spice still show up on the palate and beyond ... Delice

August 12, 2014 - a Shiraz-Grenache blend out of Australia. This is not a wine for the feint of heart or weak of knee (sorry Lloyd), with its 15.7% alcohol, this one could knock you on your ass after just a glass, if you're not ready for it. Plum, black cherry and dark chocolate hide that ass-kickingly powerful 15.7% alcohol along with smooth gentle tannins. This one comes across friendly but can take your wallet and ID if you're not careful. If you've never experienced an Aussie bruiser like this, think of it this way: it has a port or Amarone-like feel to it and can have similar after effects.

April 11, 2014 - Nose of blue & black fruits, slightly jammy, but with a touch of smoke and vanilla there as well. Flavors on the palate are again a touch jammy, but the supporting acid & oak frame it decently. Round, glyceril, full, but not especially thick or heavy. Not exactly my preferred style but pretty well done for a fruit-forward blend.

August 4, 2013 - Reasonable wine but nothing to get me excited, leans more toward it's Barossa Shiraz in style rather than a grenache blend with lighter weight. Other comments re a short finish are correct.
