  December 30, 2023 - Nose of red cherry and black cherry, briar, sage, and spring flowers, same on the palate, medium/big body, showing very well tonight, tasty, mellow, smooth, time to drink up, and a medium/long, flavorful finish, photo of Silver Oak Ornaments on this year's Christmas Tree.

  July 22, 2023 - Silver Oak Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 2008
  カリフォルニアのカベルネソーヴィニヨンの最高峰の一つ。
  綺麗なエッジが、良く熟成されていることを認識させてくれる。
  スケール感も大きく余韻も長い。
  味のバランス感覚にフランスらしさも感じるが、根幹に感じる明るい果実味にはやはりアメリカらしさを強く感じる。
  (2000年後半という時代性もあるかも)
  One of the best Cabernet Sauvignons in California.
  The clean edges of this wine make you realize that it has aged well.
  It has a great sense of scale and a long finish.
  The balance of the flavor has a French feel to it, but the bright fruitiness at the core of the wine is strongly American.
  (This may be due to the fact that it was made in the latter half of the year 2000.)

  March 5, 2023 - Beautiful nose of dark fruit and vanilla oak
  Currants and blueberries predominate
  Surprisingly still has some tannins and very nice acid fruit balance at this age
  Medium finish length
