Community Tasting Notes 8

September 4, 2018 - This started out very delicate - more like a Barbaresco than a Barolo! It was pleasant, though, and drank well. It faded pretty quickly and was quite acidic the following night.

February 22, 2016 - Very pleasant bottle that went well with slow cooked chuck roast with roasted potatoes. Seems to have softened considerably since last reviews. Nice fruit not heavy and tannin well integrated. Pleasant long finish.

November 27, 2014 - Still a young wine, took a few days to open, but the fruit seems hidden. Very robust and could not get past the dirt for a day or so, but then the finish started to lengthen and the fruit began to show after 48 hours. Interesting to see how it will evolve.

August 27, 2013 - Competent wine at open. An incomplete review as I was not able to taste the wine again for a few days and it had dissipated. There may be more to this wine over time.

February 5, 2011 - Spiced licorice on the nose. Medium bodied. Tannins present, but not overpowering.
