April 8, 2024 - Thick, powerfull and intense bit a bit too much stewed fruits and sharp alcohol for me. Its a complex wine, with depth and a long finish but just lacks the balance to be really enjoyable.

February 27, 2024 - Dinner with the olds. We saved this to enjoy with the outlaws for a special dinner. What a lovely rich chateau neuf. Still rich with red and black fruit. Silky tannins, subtle integrated oak. Vanilla and cedar. Some lively spice notes. Long finish. Drinking brilliantly with years to come. A & V

February 4, 2024 - Similar to last time: concentrated and intense wine. No decant. It took hours to let unfold what the wine has to offer: power and Charme. Deep dark fruit, herbs, lovers sweetness.

February 20, 2023 - Deep dark color, concentrated, explosive nose. Dark berries, garrigue, herbs, pepper in a combination with a sweetness. Thick and velvet texture, full bodied. Long and silky finish. Will hold for many more years.

December 24, 2022 - Color is good maybe just a touch of bricking but encouraging. Pop wow the nose is rather explosive, deep dark cherries dusted with powdered sugar. Just a touch of something herbal/dried leafy? All in all a lovely nose.
Palate is not as inviting though. Decidedly red fruits continue and the wine is not heavy, even a little crunchy and tart. The fruit has certainly faded, yet unfortunately massive tannin remains hiding what might be left under. Of course since the fruit has FedEx there’s some heat.
    A for the start
    C- for the finish
But fun to open and perfectly interesting for the context which it was used.
