January 21, 2024 - Bottle purchased from the estate and kept in my cellar ever since.

Nose of red fruits and sweet spices.

The palate immediately brings to mind Vosne, notably thanks to the sweet spices which dominate. Youthful sensation, precise acidity, the juice is not the most intense but the aromas of tea, spices and red fruits make up for this deficit. Very beautiful silky texture which makes the wine slide and which makes you forget (almost) a lack of depth given the pedigree. The balance is present, which brings us to a finish, certainly intense, although short considering once again the appellation.

Very good Burgundy, but already struggling to justify its estate price given the lack of complexity and depth, so at market prices it's just madness. No miracle on this bottle, the limits of the 2008 vintage are very present.

August 2, 2023 - Quite young and structured as expected but this is a "wow" wine with a wonderful Vosne-spice smell and fantastically rich cherry fruit combined with succulent acidity. There is real precision here with a refined silky texture and great lift and cut. Finishes crisp and complex already wth notes of violet spice and crunchy minerals. Great future here but also great now! 95+

October 21, 2022 - very open now with some air. attractive nose. some tea leaves, roses. just hints of greens indicating a slightly less solar vintage. but works well here.
