  February 26, 2012 - Not really Tuscan sangiovese as I know it. Quite modern and easy going; the fruit does lack, for better or worse, the sour cherry herbal savoury character so often seen. There's a slightly weird burnt rubber and wood note, particularly on the nose, and it doesn't fully blow off. Still, very enjoyable and certainly grows on you. Won't live for ever, in the window now and no probs for a couple more.

  February 12, 2012 - Poured through vinturi. Somewhat nondescript, however very enjoyable. Dark fruit, a touch of spice and tobacco. Nicely integrated tannins. Well made and a good qpr for $15.
