June 3, 2010 - On the nose: GOBS. of. FRUIT. Mainly plum - fresh & cooked, some sweet spice yes but also dried herbs: bay, thyme. oregano. Sorta balances out. Subtle on the palate, just a tickling of tannin on the palate. Alchohol is definitely present. Drink with pork carnitas tacos with tomatillo salsa & basmati rice perfumed with New Mexico chile powder & Mexican oregano. Damn-Damn-Good.
