February 10, 2020 - Very light bodied and acidic though possessing balance and integration. A little more fruit would have pushed it over 90.

November 24, 2014 - Light bodied, and therefore without the intensity of a top Hermitage. But it starts beautifully formed, with bright, pristine fruit and uplifting acidity. After an hour the tannins kick in - fine and ripe, but they start to dominate, so the last glass is totally different from the first, and I prefer the first. g+

March 24, 2008 - Nice nose - more animal than fruit. The fruit is still primary, but with good intensity. Very mineral/acidic, but nicely balanced to my taste. After the bottle has been open an hour or so the tannins kick in and provide a good, chewy finish. Youthful, but very drinkable. Punches above it's weight for the base cuvee, I would say. vg
