May 17, 2018 - Even though the cork broke when opening, we were able to extract both pieces without any debris in the bottle. We decanted the wine. There was little sediment. The wine was clear, with just a little brick red in the color; but, impressive for a pinot in the bottle for 13 years. The wine had excellent aromas of fruit with cherry notes. On the palate, the wine still had much tart cherry fruit, a hint of licorice near the end, an even/smooth palate feel and a medium to long length. We drank over three hours with little change.

    January 26, 2012 - 2002-2005 Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noirs (Bi-weekly group blind tasting at Tom's House): Blindtasted 9 Rosella's Vineyard Pinots, My #1, The group's #4.
This was supposed to be a 2005 but upon reveal we see that we had tasted two different bottles of the 2003 Testarossa Rosella's.
Quite the bottle variation as this was my #1 of the night and the other bottle was my #4.
Few notes taken, sharpie nose, good juicy flavor. Yum.

Floral and coconut aromas. Juicy tropical fruit. Simple and delicious.

April 21, 2010 - Drinking very nicely, but still has a few years of life. Era molto buono con un pollo arrostito.

July 31, 2006 - drinking very well. I would give it another year or two to let it integrate more and hope that some of the heat cools off

(Testarossa Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard) Group's #2 (my #1) – 50 pts; 2, 0, 2, 0 – very clear, medium cherry red color; focused deep cherry, black cherry and allspice nose with a woody cast; tasty, ripe cherry, plum and red fruit with some complexity, mineral and spice; medium finish
