  March 2, 2014 - Wow, this is beautiful. Full of nutty marzipan complexity. Fabulous texture, fine acidity and an endless finish. This is as good as sherry gets, fabulous.

  March 6, 2008 - The cork on this was just barely hanging on. The wine was very nice. Sherry, is what it claims, and sherry is what it is. Lovely nuts, mature oxidative qualities, there were minerals, and good length. lovely wine.

  April 1, 2007 - Phenomenal complexity, finesse and typicity, Amontillado nuts and Oloroso richness, hint of vanilla, ethereal, flowers, like a great old Grande Champagne Cognac (or maybe a Verdelho with Sercial-acidity), tight but smooth, flowers and wet walnuts, amazing length, truly great Sherry.

  March 10, 2006 - Deep, rich, inviting nose of butterscotch, nutskin, caramel and chocolate. Flavors follow through on the palate with an endless finish. Racy and searing on the palate. Very dry. Perhaps a bit of sweetness would have ameliorated the acids, or perhaps some decanting would have softened it. Still... a stunning wine.
