September 23, 2022 - Wow! Integration and layers. Black cherry and darker red fruit. Great year and it shows. Plenty of life left. Solid mid weight. Wish I had more.

January 12, 2022 - PnP, consumed over 4 hours. Appearance: Clear, pale garnet with definite browning on the edges. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developed aromas of baking spices, dried cherry, cola, leather, and wild rose petal. Palate: Dry, medium- acid, low tannin, medium body, medium alcohol - 13.5% abv, medium+ intensity with fully developed flavors of dried cherry, baking spice, and tobacco with a medium+ finish.
Overall a very good wine at, or just past, peak. Still has good fruit intensity and good complexity though fruit is showing as dried and acid seems to be fading just a bit, drink now. -

August 14, 2021 - Wide range of opinion. Some thought good, some thought not so, others said it improved later in the evening. No brett, little fruit.

June 25, 2021 - Red and black cherry with sweet baking spice. Still rich, with hints from middle forward, this is aging very gracefully.

April 30, 2021 - 13 years on this wine is in a nice place. Still redolent of darker red fruits and forest, there is a composed richness to this wine.
Medium bodied with fully resolved tannins and broad acid, the wine feels like it is solidly within a nice window.
Round notes of black cherries, dry earth and green vegetation all come together in a balanced manner.
Day 2
Even smoother and more integrated than day one.
Aromas of dark cherries and fresh tarragon lead to a rich molten river of dark raspberries, cherries, soil and garrigue.
Nice and hedonistic Willamette Valley Pinot with a number of years left.
