  September 12, 2015 - Ditto the cure's comments. The wine is drinking very well after ten years. Fruit is mellowing a bit but still fresh. Toasted oak is prevalent and tannins are still tight. Nice job Franciscan.

  May 15, 2015 - Really surprised by this wine! Drank with steaks after decanting for an hour. The nose and mouth took us straight back to Napa ( just visited a few weeks ago). Opened up nicely throughout the meal - finish was strong - nice lingering tannins. Probably could have cellared even longer (in the proper environment).

  May 14, 2015 - After 10 years, the tannins are still strong and astringent. Dark fruit flavor and maybe some tart cherries, which surprises me given the age. Decanted 1 hour and drank over the course of a night. Nice nose. Minimal finish.
