  April 13, 2022 - What an entirely different bottle. Classic claret that still shows plenty of blackcurrant, though red fruits are starting to take the edge. Blackcurrant leaf, mint, and cedar aplenty. Fine grained tannins and ample acid - some would say this is thin, but I found it marvelously elegant and a real surprise for such a maligned year.

  October 10, 2019 - In its early twilight, soft blackcurrant fruits with some green tobacco and mint leaf. Leather bound books give it that old wine feel. You can taste this was a wet year, but it's nicely composed even if it lacks the definition a better vintage would show. Still, not bad given its age.

  March 4, 2016 - Dark fruit with a touch of black currant. Nice soft medium tannins and acidity. Some old leather. Long dark finish. Very good.

  Holzige Nase mit erdiger Note.
  Feine Stachelbeeren mit samtiger Finesse, Tannine abgebaut, sollte jetzt getrunken werden.
