Community Tasting Notes 1

January 5, 2019 - The main appeal which remains here is in its spicy, cardamom-filled, plum accented nose. Though this is reflective of a mature St. Emilion, it's also getting quite feeble despite the high fill and really requires drinking promptly. The palate is starting to show some acetone and the tannins are pure velvet. The best 1950 right banks can still go a distance and some may be livelier than this but I wouldn't wait.
