April 27, 2016 - Pnp. Side by side compared with his 96 rsv. It was very ready. Floral with flowers, ginger flower, and red fruit. Palate was smoothe and elegant but light on its feet due to the vintage. Very enjoyable. Def at its peak.

May 7, 2014 - Red colour reflected in sweet, briary red fruited palate with plenty of herbal/bretty elements too. Lovely, sweet poise and persistence to this. Great showing for such an unheralded vintage. Drinking perfectly now.

September 23, 2011 - A Burgundy night at Helsinki (Classic Wine Cellars, Helsinki, Finland): The wine of the night in our Burgundy tasting. This had a wonderfully perfumy nose immediately after opening. A fully mature wine at its peak that clearly showed why vintage charts are of very little worth in Burgundy. In the mouth this was wonderfully smooth with that lovely perfumy aftertaste. Extremely elegant, yet very energetic. Very intensive fruit. Power without weight. Wonderfully complex. This was hands down better tonight than the more powerful, but closed up 1991 it was tasted together with. A great wine.
