December 20, 2021 - Lead capsule, ugly bottle top and cork, but it came out cleanly. Incredibly pale yellow. A very pretty nose of underripe pineapple, lemony acids, sandalwood smoke (incense?) and cream - perhaps there's some botrytis here? The palate is more muted and linear, but this was preserved for 38 years by the acidity. Shockingly not only alive but showing very well.

February 9, 2013 - nose still quite appealing, but definitely quite mature
