  September 14, 2008 - This is an excellent, delicious Chianti Reserva, but it really needs decanting, i suggest 3 hours, you will taste and smell it open up, mellow out and become a great food wine, with luscious cherry, dark chocolate and all-spice notes.. When you open it up however, it smells and tastes very closed and tannic, so do the decanting and you will be greatly rewarded, also, for that quality, a great QPR, 91 pts

  August 15, 2007 - Very solid. Nice tannins to offset the acidity, which is more in control here than other Viticcios I've tasted. I think the additional bottle age is the difference, as I drank them very young in the past. Cherry and plum flavors. Will definitely buy more of these and age them a bit, the $13 investment paid off nicely here.
