September 6, 2016 - Fully mature yet quite fresh due to strong presence of acidity, shy sweet red fruit, cherry, raspberry, strong cedar note, leather, wet forest floor, a hint of caramel, spearmint and earth. Fully integrated harmonious palate, shy red fruit and cedar driven palate impression, bright acidity, still a hint of tannins and lovely long sweet finish that ends with cedar. What is remarkable is that it remains enjoyable for three days without any sign of oxidation.

October 7, 2012 - Old Burg and Bordeaux at the Capital Grille Tysons (Capital Grille Tysons): In the morning, red fruits, cedar, green pepper, earth, smoke and a hint of VA. Audouzed and gained weight. Still mostly red fruits with a hint of black, baked fruit cakes, earth, vanilla and ash. Medium weight, the sweetness that only comes with long time in the bottle. Lovely.
