December 10, 2017 - This Reserve was at the end of its life. But still feeling that this was a real big second wine but now starting to desintegrate. Also some oxidative notes. Drink up now and enjoy with food the tertiary notes.

August 1, 2013 - Drank together with Réserve de la Comtesse 89'. Popped and poured. deep brick red colour, a bit close but still has some hints of classic old claret, with some fruits on palate particularly strong dried red currants and plum, the tannin was soften already, and well integrated with the acidity. A very very enjoyable wine. 90' is really a very good vintage for Bordeaux and in my opinion, it is still a bit backward than the 89', and can last for at least 5-10 years.
