January 29, 2019 - Bouchard Pere et Fils with Gilles de Larouziere (NoMad Cupola): Wow wine and WOTN for me. Awesome complexity yet lots of freshness and acidity. Beautiful mature notes but nowhere near the end of its life. Smoke, meat and strawberries.

June 29, 2018 - Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner (Château de Meursault): Small glass, brief note. From great looking bottle (color, fill) that probably never left Burgundy. Handsomely maturing sweet red fruit with earth and mushroom, but nicely clean. Fun and perfectly enjoyable old wine.

June 15, 2013 - 375ml bottle that looked perfectly stored, although cork crumbled on its way out. Almost immediately upon pouring into the glass, spicy red fruit perfume enveloped our table. Great drinking right now -- balanced w/ decent density, acidity, loads of fruit, and silky on the palate. Medium finish, but I didn't care. Still intoxicated by those aromas.
