January 10, 2011 - Ruby red with some mahogany at the edge. Nose is mixed dark red fruit with a bit of heavy spice. Some cherry and candied red licorice but getting old and showing a small bite at the end.

December 10, 2010 - Ruby color with a soft, mixed red fruit nose. Elegant, soft fruit -- red raspberry and sweet red cherry -- with little tannin and a medium finish. No layering of fruit and no bigger dark red fruit in the background.

June 18, 2005 - Affordable, Eclectic Pinots (John's House in Des Moines, WA): Color is medium ruby. On the nose, subdued red fruits...this one is a bit closed on the aromatics. On the palate, black cherries carry the day. Decent balance, and a 15-20 second finish.
