July 17, 2010 - the Albet i Noya 'Petit Albet,' with a pair of footprints on the label, is a freshly crisp blend of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Xarel-lo (an indigenous Spanish grape commonly used in Cava production). Chalky pear and green apple aromas and flavors are lightly dusted with spice and vanilla cream, while the bright acidity results in a mouth-watering-ly tart finish. An excellent choice for afternoon sipping in the summer sun, and great with seafood and sushi. Very good value here.
