April 10, 2021 - Very smooth; at its peak, but could last another couple of years; medium nose, very good fruit and long finish; nice balance.

April 16, 2017 - Still going strong with no sign of peak maturity, tannin and body got softened, is somewhat still a bit too powerful when comparing to other likes in the same age bracket.

November 10, 2015 - Tasted blind - when first opened it revealed classic notes of blackberry and eucalyptus. Opened up to show mint and floral notes. But the palate was too lush. Very little tannin. Almost more like a merlot. This bottle was past its prime, in my opinion.

  • Stirling Likes this wine: 94 points

September 10, 2014 - Dark red, slight fade at rim. Big, expressive nose of black cherry, black fruits, cedar, earth and a whiff of vanilla. Medium/full body with a rich mouthfeel. Poised and balanced but offering plenty of classic Cabernet flavours: cassis and dark fruits supported with slight herbal notes. Long finish. Fully mature, there is enough fruit and structure to take this wine at least another 5 years in good form. Delicious!
