October 2, 2022 - Master sommelier recommended as an alternative to a dessert wine. It’s excellent.

February 7, 2020 - Made from 90 % Grenache Noir and 10 % Grenache Gris grown on schist soils. The solera at Domaine Pages was started in 1921 and continued until 1962 when it was forgotten about until Pierre Gaillard bought the estate and discovered this wine which makes for quite a find.

As others have noted this is a fantastic wine. We drunk it over many weeks, a little at a time. Dried fruit aromas, nut and chocolate on the palate. Very long finish, absolutely delicious. A great alternative to a port or sherry and excellent value for money.

October 25, 2015 - A stunning fortified wine, up there with the best Tawny Ports and Madeiras I've tasted. 'Hors d'Age' on the label, so I'm not sure how long the solera system has been in operation for, but long enough to produce a wine of incredibly power and complexity as well as silky elegance. Cork. 18.5%.

March 17, 2013 - Excellent dessert wine, Solera method similar to a Madeira.
