Community Tasting Notes 20

November 21, 2016 - Garnet. Some funk on the nose. Red fruit, slight roughness, Raspberry. Day 2 darker, fuller, cherry and plumb notes, medium finish. Enjoyable.

July 6, 2012 - Dark, lots of material here, still a bit primary. Good supporting acidity, enough that Jullie didn't like it. Decanted this for two hours. Don't think this will develop much complexity, but it should smooth out by 2014-2015 and be a very nice wine. For the money, outstanding.

April 21, 2012 - Classic Oregon nose, earth, peat, dark cherries. Full mouthfeel, lasting. Exactly how I remember it tasting when we bought three years ago. I prefer this much more to their vineyard designates. Won't get any better, drink up.

March 9, 2012 - A nice "entry level" introduction to what this winery does and what 2008 was about. Stylish, light, dances in your mouth, fruits, acids, good finish. Drinking well at 4 years out, but not a keeper so enjoy it now as it was meant to be!

December 5, 2011 - Very light ruby color in the glass. Beautiful nose of forest floor, dark fruits. Light bodied, quite dry, a short finish. The bouquet is really the draw with this wine.
