January 6, 2014 - Cellar Reduction, The Fun Way (Santa Ynez Valley): Rustic and austere, with more weight than I recall from other vintages. Great minerality, with additional notes of meat and smoke. I love this expression of Lagrein!

December 15, 2013 - Absolutely gorgeous! Dark, almost black in color, blackberry and plum nose. Perfect balance in palate, accurate acididty. Almost like very good cabernet. Decanted 40 mins and paired with beef steak.
