The color of the wine reveals that it is 18 years old, but it was a perfect accompaniment to a medium rare cheddar cheeseburger with bacon, and it drank even more beautifully the next day, which was quite a surprise! -

November 28, 2015 - Age had been good to this. It's a bit bombastic, but has developed well. Red fruit, spice, minerality... amazing with Naples style gourmet pizza.
