March 21, 2024 - As improbable as it sounds, I just opened a 206 last night and unfortunately I had to sync the cork.
The color of the wine reveals that it is 18 years old, but it was a perfect accompaniment to a medium rare cheddar cheeseburger with bacon, and it drank even more beautifully the next day, which was quite a surprise!

November 28, 2015 - Age had been good to this. It's a bit bombastic, but has developed well. Red fruit, spice, minerality... amazing with Naples style gourmet pizza.

June 29, 2015 - 2nd Bottle. Have to say that this has really come around. Somewhere between Tuscany and Napa.

July 1, 2012 - good color, but one dimensional. light tannins; abrupt finish. seemed more like a pinot (light bodied) than a big Napa cab.

May 3, 2010 - Tasted at the source...billed as a super-Tuscan with Sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Needs more time in the bottle, should have more complexity up front
