  Splash decanted and drank over the next 90 minutes. Almost opaque ruby-red color. Full-bodied. At first, it was dark fruits ? plums, blackberries blueberries ? with a bit of a funky aftertaste. After 90 minutes, it is still primarily black fruit, but there are some red berry overtones. After 90 minutes, the off-putting aftertaste became some interesting spices. If you can find it, this wine is way-better then its price point. I highly recommend an hour plus in a decanter or letting it sit in your cellar for a couple more years. I'm betting that in the year or two I would give this one a 91 or 92.

  December 31, 2013 - Very good. Sweet scents of cherry and honey on the nose. Even flavor; smooth. Cherry flavor. A bit syrupy.
