April 7, 2010 - Went from a Beaune to this, and just like the contrast between the whites, my first thought was that this lineup was going to be a really vivid terroir tour, because this just nailed the contrast between Beaune and Pommard... the gravelly minerality and rougher tannin of Pommard were immediately evident, the fruit maybe just a bit paler. (pre-bottling sample)
