April 14, 2024 - Decanted for about an hour. Big fruit aroma (mixed berry jam) as pouring it into the decanter. In the glass, aromas of plum, blackberry, earth, mushroom, and tobacco. On the palate, dark fruits are there up front, followed by some earthy flavors and a tinge of sweet tobacco(?) before the acid and mildly chalky tanins come in at the end.

March 29, 2023 - Still enjoyable, let it sit 30 minutes before hand

June 11, 2021 - Upon opening big whiff of dark berry. As it settled into the glass, the wet barnyard funk dominated. About 3 hours in, fruit started to show pretty well. Blueberry and plum up front, earthy, barnyard fell to back, but still there.

May 6, 2021 - We have LOVED this wine for many years but my comment today is "stick a fork in it, it's done". Very disappointed in it today compared to prior tastings. Won't buy this vintage again. Waiting on something younger to try. It's been a good run while it lasted.

December 27, 2020 - plenty enjoyable at almost 20 years on. similar bottle-to-bottle from a year ago. this was my last bottle and not sure it's worth holding this any further.
