September 27, 2016 - Drank on the patio of Boulevardier with the oldest men's wine group in Dallas and recieved excellent comments. Beautiful nose, lush spices, honey, tropical fruits, and yellow flowers. Full bodied and golden.

July 14, 2011 - Coppery gold. Explosively rich nose, this was climbing out of the bottle to find us. Botrytis here? Opulent spiced honey, tropical fruits, yellow flowers. Full bodied and unctuous. Gewurtz is not usually one of my favorite varieties because of the low acidity, but this was not at all flabby even with it's weightiness. Delicious. February 6, 2006 - Yikes, lots of BIG HUGE GAINORMOUS crystals of tartrate on cork. Tasted flat dead and overly sweet. No acid no alcohol which translates to drinking syrupy sugar water. Could it get worse? Bad bottle or bad batch... to be continued!
