February 19, 2018 - Village Red Burgundy (Piccolo Forno): Surprisingly complex nose with red fruit, spice, mint, earth, excellent depth; palate is light bodied, excellent red fruit, lovely balanced acidity, good complexity and depth; medium finish. This is superb for its level. 91-92

Nose sports lovely stems, earth, souis - bouis, minerals, fine cherries.
Palate is silky, long, fine fruit, depth, minerals, earth, spices, licorice, stems, with a very fine streak of refreshing acidity.
Very, very good.
Overachieving for its level, the 2008 vintage again speaks and shows how good it is.
