January 16, 2011 - I get it. Again, after a Bonneau Rouliers las week and now a Ponsot this week. No new wood. Very "exposed" wine that relies 100% on quality of fruit and terroir. Great fruit for a villages level wine. Acidity is at the edge of over-the-top. Tannins are very nice, firm. Careful approaching this without due time to give. Restaurants might not be the best venue. Two years down the road perhaps but at the moment it deserves time to stretch its legs.
