NOSE: very ripe; very oaky; inky; ripe purple fruits

BODY: violet-garnet color of medium-deep depth; little bit of fine particulate matter present; medium to medium-full bodied.

TASTE: ripe; soft; very oaky; blackberry; 14.2% alc. not noticeable; doesn't taste aged, but it has softened noticeably since release; low acid; too oaky and soft for my preferences; although this is still holding together just fine, I probably shouldn't have aged it the few years that I did; Drink Now.

February 26, 2011 - This is really a winery on the rise. They make Mostly Pinots from grapes sourced from various areas -- Napa, Russian River and the Willamette Valley in Oregon....and the wines are consistently strong. This wine is a red Bordeaux blend from Napa and is delicious Beautiful color and nose with a nice long finish.... With hints of cherries and blackberries. Wines are not really in stores; you need to order on their website.
