November 27, 2013 - This wine is on the down slide, but opened it with an open heart. It started out pretty funky. I decanted and let it start to open up. The glass I poured started to improve, so I was pretty hopeful. After about an hour, it was drinking very well for a Virginia Cab. Surprisingly good. Not a huge in your face Cab like you might expect from California, but more like a softer Merlot. All in all, happy that I gave it a try.
