A somewhat reticent nose, dark fruited palate with a bit of earthiness and a beautiful streak of tangy acidity running throughout the wine. It’s this tanginess (if that makes any sense) that stands out to me compared to previous vintages of this wine. If this is some sort of vintage characteristic, then I’m excited. I like this a lot, and a great value for the money if you’re playing in the pinot world. Drink now or hold it should be good either way.
