March 1, 2023 - Bottle two of a recent purchase at $45 per bottle! Excellent fill level and cork was excellent. This is a fully mature CLASSIC Médoc wine and it is such a treat. I cant remember getting this much enjoyment from a wine for the price. I wish there was more! Decanted 3 hours (2 hrs more than my previous note). There is still a good amount of fruit with some lovely soft tannins. The finish isn’t particularly long, but it is just so good! The bottles I recently purchased will go on for another 5 years.

February 24, 2023 - What a treat to drink a 27 year old St Estephe for under $50. Decanted one hour which was sufficient. Fully mature. Most of the fruit has faded but what an enjoyable wine with wonderful tannins. This particular bottle would have gone on for another 5 years.

January 10, 2023 - Let's start from the beginning. Cork - like from 5 years old wine ( see my photo). Sediments - visible, 3 on scale of 5. Color - still closer to red then brown. An hour of decanting ( not enough!)
First sniff and I knew that the wine will be great! Forest, cedar, vanilla, black currant, tobacco, leather. All elegant and in perfect balance.
Taste - first glass... good, but somehow messy. Second glass - here we go. Elegant, balanced and still with good structure. First of all - no tannins, but acidity is here and lovely mocca( I wonder how much Merlot is in this mix). Fruits like black currant, black cherry and plum are here, but shy.( if you have this vintage, don't wait any longer). Tobacco kicks my tongue. Nice "refreshment" from cedar.
Spice at finish. Silky texture.
The longer I drink it the more I like it ( written after second glass) 🤠

December 9, 2022 - Beautifully mature claret, fading fruit but so much gentle spice and loads of cedar box notes, a lovely package.

December 14, 2021 - Medium-bodied, fresh, earthy, peppery, red fruits with a nice ripeness to the berries. The wine is soft, charming and comes along with Asian spices, cedar and cigar box notes to round things out. Fully mature, this requires consumption over the next few years before it begins to drop its fruit.
