Community Tasting Notes 2

November 30, 2011 - Had this sitting around waiting for a special occasion. Glad I waited. This was an amazing bottle of Pinot. Deep purple color, earthy nose. Very lush on the palette, lots of fruit and leather. Super smooth finish with fully integrated tannins. We did aerate the wine and it probably made a big difference as we did not wait long to drink the wine after opening. Wish I had more of this. Still have some '04s and will probably drink on New Years Eve dinner.

June 15, 2009 - Wonderful aroma, strong hints of licorice and berries. Full on the palate, smooth finish.
