Community Tasting Notes 20

March 29, 2013 - Decent colour here. Light honey. On the nose, it has a clean, steely mineral side with green apple, light citrus and light floral elements. On the palate it is firm, mineral, light buttery notes on the finish with the fruit. Pure and could use some more age. No oak and thank you for that. 89 , drink well now but will age nicely.

May 26, 2012 - Too much peach and not enough cut for me, but people at our bbq drained this in no time.

December 19, 2011 - Yellow green color and not very aromatic. Nice, believe it or not, saffron flavor and a bit of gassy, fizzy mouth-feel. But has a remnant of alcohol show in the end.

November 11, 2011 - Viscous mouth feel, almost oily, but floral, and minerals on the palate. There is enough acid to balance the whole thing out and it finishes smoothly. We were not familiar with the grape, but everyone liked it as an occasional alternative to Big Chardonnays (i.e. New World) with lots of butter fat, even if it appears to be in the same style.

September 24, 2011 - It's not a complex wine, nonetheless it's very nice. Good freshness with pears in the nose. Sometimes a hint of peaches appeared. The minerality was always present. I enjoyed it.
