December 8, 2013 - Good solid Macon in peak drinking window. Lemon and chalk dominates the nose, with a touch of (now integrated) oak. Crisp finish with nice acidic bite. Needs 15mins in a glass for the flavours and body to pick up - when a nice richness with mild butter. Less impressive than my house Lafon Macons, but still a QPR steel. I would recommend drinking this in next 2 years (i.e. 2014/15)

July 8, 2012 - The usual kind of lightly-yeasty, floral/fruity Chardonnay smell. Same goes for the taste, but it also has light dough and butter notes. Somewhat fuller body than expected (which is a good thing). Not much more interesting than many cheap white wines.

March 14, 2012 - Unpleasantly cheesy nose. Deep down underneath, there's a nice iwne here, but ,the sweaty cheesiness is just too offputting
