  March 22, 2014 - This was a very nice treat, ESP for a dessert wine. Zin & Cab berries very prominent much more like vintage (not tawny) port - was excellent with chocolate soufflé dessert! Wonder if I can get any more of the '05?

  October 15, 2012 - Nice flavor profile. Some smokiness, maple, and some minerality. It's not a typical port in that the grittiness of the Cabernet Sauvignon comes through prominently. Would have liked to taste the juice from this varietal in a dry table wine. Overall, it's not syrupy, but not notably complex either. The shortish, gritty finish occurs on the roof of the mouth.

  August 20, 2012 - wonderfully dark and rich with cab and zin qualities in a dessert style wine. 20% alc but no heat since it's balanced into the sweetness of this wine. Not syrupy as some wineries will make their dessert wines - more like a cabernet-based port. wish i had a few more.

  June 5, 2011 - Plommon och russin dominerar men balansen finns där med en del andra smaker som döljer sig. Vinet är starkt men välbalanserat och har en mycket snygg eldighet.
