March 30, 2023 - This wine (from Bern’s) had a low shoulder fill. It had a red center and orange rims. The nose was dusty and reserved at first but developed into a medium intensity nose of plum, anise, currants, and minerals.
In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with nice balance, light tannin, and good length.
While this wine was solid, the flavors were not particularly complex. Drink up. -

December 20, 2015 - Great Older Wines at the Place to Drink Great Older Wines (Tampa FL): Opened after the first bottle was corked. More fruit than earth with cedar, licorice and subtle spice. Very good concentration and persistence for its age. I wouldn't have thought this 60 yo.
