September 10, 2023 - Needs substantial air to reveal dark fruit and spice, but still on the dirtier/earthier (i.e. Grivot) side of Richebourg. Better than some other vintages in structure and finesse. 93+

August 9, 2023 - Opened at 4pm, muted nose and structured fruit. Drank at 9pm refined tannin’s secondary flavours cedar sandlewood, truffles. Good but didn’t rock my boat. Did I open it too early?

February 1, 2022 - This promised to be great - and it was. Young but precise and appealing. beautiful fruit matched with power and grace. Deserves a few more years in the bottle and the scores will only go up from here.

January 20, 2022 - Several categories above Grivot's Echezeaux from the same vintage. Highly expressive and spicy. More lifted. Powerful but expressive. Good. 93 - 94.

October 19, 2021 - Brilliant wine. Explosive aromas immediately after opening. Very pure fruit, with laser-like focus. Superb terroir expression. Very powerful mid-palate with good grip. There is good structure that has been totally subsumed. Well balanced with excellent inner mouth perfume. Good length. A great Richebourg.
