May 27, 2015 - Fantastic example of rose. Despite its age, still showing and drinking beautifully.
Strawberries and Provence herbs on the nose.

June 28, 2014 - Just for contrast, I pulled an older rose out as well. Similar in color to the 2012; the nose is more restrained (or maybe just a bit tired - I'm guessing a 2009 rose is probably pushing it a bit).

Still refreshing on the palate, but not as smooth or integrated as the 2012; the acidity here is a little spikier, but the wine would be fine on it's own. It's current shortcomings are just a little more apparent when tasted next to it's younger sibling.

June 6, 2014 - Liked it even slightly better than some weeks ago. probably because the weather is now so much nicer ...

April 20, 2014 - Found a forgotten case in the last corner of the cellar and quickly popped a bottle. Has held on to dear life pretty well - tasting as fresh as ever. Nose of strawberries, herbs. On the palate grapefruit, lemon zest, chalk. Will possibly not go any further but currently at its peak.

January 29, 2014 - Last tried four months ago - while one wouldn't normally associate the "polar vortex" we're experiencing with "Rose' weather", I was having leftover meatloaf for dinner and wanted something with a little more zing than a typical table white wine.

Same light salmon color as the last time; nice citrus & minerality on the nose.

Smooth on the palate, a little bitterness for complexity/focus, nice acidity - really nice tonight, and dangerously drinkable. A wine to try for those that think Rose' must be consumed in the year after harvest.
