March 22, 2017 - Similar to last note but better integrated, well rounded, great mouth-feel and medium long finish.

March 8, 2015 - PnP. Nose of red fruit and spice. Palate showed Cherry, cranberry and baking spices with nice acidity, light tannins and a medium finish.

December 15, 2013 - Decanted through vinturi and left to breathe for 30 min or so. Nose initially uncomplicated red fruit. Nose and palate developed over the evening to bright flavors of cranberry, cherry, currant. Mouth-watering acidity and medium-fine tannins. Wonderful food wine. This was the last of six - wish we had more. Just entering its prime, surely good for another 3-4 years.

August 2, 2013 - Nose of candied cherry and white pepper. Lively, tart, and tannic on the palate, with fruit profile broadening to include berry and plum. Not overly hot at 14% abv. Nice informal dinner wine.
