November 5, 2022 - Light golden. There are many years of life ahead of this, even from warmer than textbook cellars. As always playing above its pedigree. Yellow and tropical fruits, flowers, long and greatly balanced. 5/12/16/9. -2035+ if perfectly stored since release

April 25, 2014 - This kicked my butt. About as dry as I've had without the Trocken label. Unyielding, provoked an audible response. So tight, a laser on the palate. Taut, fruit is there but overshadowed by the acidity and structure. I was wrong on my earlier note, this has the structure to go a very long time. Was my last bottle, but curious to hear others' takes as this ages.

February 7, 2014 - A little underwhelmed. Lovely nose and fresh palate but finish is a little bitter. Overall it just seems to lack something that makes it an interesting wine rather than a quaffer.
