July 8, 2021 - Not at all integrated, with tannins outliving being he fruit. So much development on the nose, with tobacco and mushroom, that I might have guessed a wine 10 years older. On the palate, drying tannins dominate, with a hint of fruit-gone-by over leather and cedar. Plentiful acid. This is all still-unresolved structure but with no fruit left to balance it. Finish is a very short bit of fruit and a long bunch of chewy tannin.

March 26, 2017 - Lots of powerful and tasty black fruit, still showing firm tannins. I had higher hopes for this wine 5+ years ago, but it hasn't integrated as well as I expected.
