October 28, 2011 - Dinner at Cosmo's (Cosmo's): Flawed bottle, not recognizable as a chard, let alone Kistler. Disappointing.

October 5, 2010 - Big and beautiful, this Kistler tastes like fruit stand next to a chevron station. loved it!

July 9, 2010 - Deep yellow color. Notes of baked apple, pear, citrus, caramel and orange blossoms. Balanced; the oak is completely integrated, melding nicely with the apple, almond, citrus and mineral flavors. Full-bodied, with a nice, medium plus finish. I'm a big fan of Kistler Chards at 5-7 years old. $134 off the wine list, so assuming a $70 +/- release price, a much more palatable mark up.
